At the 75th-anniversary celebration of North Korea's regime establishment, a significant moment was captured on broadcast, featuring Pak Jong Chon, the director of the General Political Bureau, kneeling down and engaging in conversation with Kim Jong-un's daughter, Kim Ju-ae. This has led to speculation that Kim Ju-ae is being groomed as a potential successor within North Korea.

North Korean media outlets paid considerable attention to Kim Ju-ae on this day, addressing her as "our beloved princess." Notably, Ri Sol-ju, North Korea's First Lady, was absent from the event.

On the 9th, during the televised celebration, Kim Jong-un and his daughter, Kim Ju-ae, were seen sharing laughter as they sat in the "Presidential Special Seating." Kim Ju-ae, dressed in a light blue short-sleeved suit, enjoyed a special moment with her father while watching the anniversary event.

Notably, the conversation between Kim Ju-ae and Kim Jong-un was observed, along with a scene where Pak Jong Chon paid his respects and exchanged whispered words with Kim Ju-ae. Pak Jong Chon, effectively a five-star general within the North Korean military hierarchy, kneeling down in this manner was an unusual and exceptional sight.

While it is not unprecedented for high-ranking North Korean officials to kneel and converse in front of Kim Jong-un, this marks the first public instance of someone kneeling before Kim Ju-ae. Previously, during Kim Jong-un's visit to the North Korean Navy headquarters, Kim Myong-sik, the North Korean Navy Commander, had also paid his respects and bowed to Kim Ju-ae.

Meanwhile, the German media outlet Deutsche Welle (DW) discussed the possibility of Kim Ju-ae becoming the successor on the occasion of North Korea's regime's 75th anniversary. DW highlighted Kim Ju-ae's presence at major events alongside her father, Kim Jong-un, since the missile test in November 2022, suggesting that she enjoys his favor and is being groomed as a potential future leader.

DW also noted, "In a male-dominated society, men might have an advantage in becoming heirs, but Kim Ju-ae appears to be her father's favorite child," further explaining, "There have been indications that Kim Ju-ae is being trained to assume power as a leader of North Korea."

These observations indicate the possibility of Kim Ju-ae playing a significant role in North Korea's future political landscape, sparking intriguing discussions about the future of North Korean politics.
